Scenario

The future is plural. Scenario planning identifies a specific set of uncertainties, different realities of what might happen in the future. It is a structured way to make assumptions on what the future might be and how the operating environment may change overtime in light of that future. This methodology is very useful when a situation is complex or when the outcomes are too uncertain to trust a single prediction.

Here we start with the end result of a hypothetical catastrophe and work back to the possible causes. What if Analysis? creates awareness to recognize the early signs of a significant change and plan ahead for a possible contingency.

Red Team exercise

This challenges an organization to improve its effectiveness by assuming an adversarial role or point of view. The Red Team exercise aims to identify and assess vulnerabilities, test assumptions, reveal the limitations of measures, and expose additional threats and risks. It is particularly effective in organizations with strong cultures and fixed ways of approaching problems.
